CUSTOM COMMISSIONED WEDDING ALBUMS

Maybe you choose a wedding photographer who didn't offer albums. Or you passed up on what they offered because it was an additional grand and you were sticking to your budget low. Just wanted to share this beautiful Black and White image from Jim and Andrea's wedding, which we just ordered for them in a beautiful vivid metal print!

Wow! Gina and Travis's Signature Book is beautiful! The highlight is the custom cover, a design printed on canvas and wrapped around the book. Gina chose a stunning black and white photo of the newlyweds walking under trees with the sun shining starlike as it touches the horizon behind them, along with a photo of their best friend and canine companion dressed to the nines. The full spreads, printed on premium pearl paper, lead the viewer through the story of their day and end with the celebration on the dance floor. I hope this family heirloom is treasured by the Hagar family for many years to come!

Just found this gem of a sign from a 2015 wedding! What great clients I have! I love the warning, especially because it's true ... And below are a few of the SCHENANIGANS we did capture that night ....

Dale, Natalie, their two puppies and I all met at Seven Lakes State Park in Holly, Michigan, for gorgeous evening sunset engagement photos. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in August of 2017!

I met Stephanie, from Tasty Layers Custom Cakes at Gina and Travis' gorgeous wedding at Mystic Creek Golf Club in Milford, Michigan. As I was photographing the details of the reception hall, Stephanie, the manager and pastry chef, showed up to deliver and put the final details on the wedding cake. It was her 9th and final stop of the day. She was super professional, carrying with her the most interesting tool kit, full of equipment, dowels, scissors, icing, blow-torch ... you name it, she had it. She explained that if anything goes wrong with the cake between the bakery and when it's delivered, she can fix it. As another professional who carries extra extra back-up equipment, for the just-in-case scenarios, I was very impressed by how prepared she was, and thought to myself her clients are super lucky to be working with someone who has all the bases covered! I made sure to snag a piece of cake at the end of the evening, and I can vouch that it tasted even better than it looked!

Gina and Travis' wedding day was gorgeous and full of love. Everything was perfect - nervously watching the weather, the skies cleared and the ground dried so the outdoor ceremony went off without a hitch, with Travis' uncle officiating and pronouncing the two man and wife. Guests partied, drank and danced into the evening in a gorgeously decorated ballroom at Mystic Creek Golf Club at Camp Dearborn, in Milford, Michigan.

Audrey and Justin had a beautiful and emotional wedding day. After prepping at Cops and Robbers Ice Cream Parlor, the bride and groom first saw each other along the Flint River, downtown Flushing. They cried and smiled and laughed, from the moment they saw each other to when they read their vows in front of family and friends at Goggin's Hall. While not an eye was dry, the party quickly ensued with a feast of salad and pizza and dancing with Black Tie Entertainment well into the evening.

Jenny and Brandon had perfect weather for their big day. The ladies had their hair and makeup done in a hotel room at the Fairfield Inn, where celebratory champagne flowed freely, including all over the bride! Brandon and his groomsmen dressed at the resort, where Brandon opened a few heartfelt and beautiful custom made presents from his bride. They did a first 'look' at the Fenton Gazebo, where Brandon, in a blindfold, was able to whisper sweet nothings to his bride. A short while later, the two said their vows at Fenton Methodist Church then followed up with a beautiful celebration at Waldenwoods Resort, where they even took time out for gorgeous sunset photos and a bit of fishing! Oh, and let's not forget they had a TACO TRUCK at the end of their reception for the guests to snack at. What a beautiful day - thank-you, I was so honored to be a part of it!
