My Favorite Wedding Vendors + Service Providers
As an additional bonus to my clients, I am highly networked into the community. The following vendors and service providers are people with whom I have a personal relationship and with whom I love to work. If you or your family need any other services, this list is a great place to start. :-)
Along with being a fabulous person, mother of three, wife and family maker, Crystal, from Floral Sense, designs some of the most modern and beautiful floral arrangements for weddings around.
She is super friendly and easy to work with - you show her your ideas, dreams, what you would like and she'll make it come true. And her designs are gorgeous. She knows perfectly how to choose and combine flowers in a way that brings life to them with young, modern and fresh arrangements.
Crystal and I have worked many weddings together - and at each one the flowers have always been impeccable and the brides have raved about their experience with her. Here is a link to a blog post where I featured Floral Sense as a Vendor on a DIY low-budget wedding. I highly suggest calling her up for a consultation - she will not disappoint!
Tasty Layers Custom Cakes
I saw Trisha in action at a wedding - she was amazing and painted the most beautiful canvas image of the bride and groom in the midst of their wedding. What she did - It was magical. This is a great idea for your own wedding, as well as an unforgettable gift to give to your favorite couple.
For facials, fillers, botox, laser hair removal and more, head over to Rejuv Spa in Fenton. Please make sure to mention you heard about them through me!
Did I mention I also work quite a bit in Real Estate Photography? Donna, a Michigan realtor, will work to help find the perfect home for you and your spouse to start your new life in.
Dody McGee - Financial Planning & Life Insurance
Dody - well, Dody is just great. She once told me her goal was to figure out how to bless and do something nice for at least one person each day. That says a lot about a person. And I can attest that Dody sincerely wants everyone around her to have a safe financial future. Some will spend more than a year planning their wedding, which is one day of their lives - why not take the time to sit down for an hour to make sure you are on track to meet your goals and secure your future?
While she helps set up your financial goals for the future, she is also great at helping you get prepared with life insurance. Compared to planning your wedding and honeymoon, buying insurance may not seem very romantic but, in reality, coverage that protects you and your spouse against life’s unforeseen risks is an important part of planning your life together. Dody is the perfect person to review and explain any existing policies, change or add a beneficiary, and make sure you have enough insurance for what your new life together requires.
Ben Bellows - Health Insurance
One part of marriage is getting on the same Health Insurance plan. Open Enrollment is the time to enroll in Health Insurance, but lucky for you, getting married is a qualifying event allowing you to purchase insurance outside of Open Enrollment period. You have 60 days before/after that qualifying event to contact Ben - he will walk you through and explain all your options, helping make your choice easy and stress free so you can enjoy your new lives together!
Diane Slinger - Estate Attorney
When you get married, it's really important to create or modify your estate plan. You may think you are young and don't need one, but estate planning is for everyone, regardless of age or net worth. And it's not all about who inherits what. You'll be able to designate someone to make decisions in the case of loss of capacity, make sure you're financials are in order and you can structure it so you can avoid probate and the associated fees entirely.
